Bashing? Reagan was saddled with Tip "Dead On Arrival" O'Neil and had to compromise to get things done. Oh, and there was that little amnesty thing.
Reagan was the first president I was able to vote for (and frankly the last president I was excited to vote for) but recounting history is not BASHING Reagan.

Yes, Reagan had to compromise. But when he was president, that meant getting something in return. When Boehner and McConnell compromise, it means giving up without getting anything. How can you be in the majority and end up far on the short end of the stick?
And when you hear a liberal saying that he wants to compromise with the establishment, that means conservatives and the country are going to get screwed.
