Cruz is the candidate I support, but he may not be eligible. I think it does need to be looked at and I think it is. But my question at large to Freepers is "how can a so called conservative give money to Al Sharpton and Hillary Clinton?".

I keep hearing the defense of pay to play but I thought conservatives deeply believed in the rule of law and principles before profit, at least we use too...

I agree Cruz’s citizenship needs to be settled, sooner than later. There is no question Cruz is the most conservative candidate, both fiscally and morally. Trumps past words and actions make me wonder how he would govern. OTOH, he
appears to have done a wonderful job raising his children. It’s obvious both men have a deep love for our Country.

I was trying to make a point. If I say Cruz was born in Canada, someone will say “Trump supports abortion”. Doesn’t change the fact, Cruz was still born in Canada. If I say Trump has New York values, someone will say “Cruz took out loans from GS and lied”. Doesn’t change the fact, Trump still has New York Values.

I guess that is why it is called the “silly season”!
