The foreign-born child of a U.S. citizen mother in 1970 is born a US citizen if she is an adult.There is no question on that.PROVIDED she had five years of physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions after the age of fourteen. So even though she is an adult at 18, no citizenship is transferred.
