But, as usual .. everybody overlooks (or ignores) THE POLITICS .. THE POLITICS .. OF THE ISSUE.

TRIBE IS A DEMOCRAT .. OF COURSE HE’S GOING TO SAY CRUZ CAN’T RUN AS PRESIDENT .. THERE’S NO OTHER ANSWER HE WOULD GIVE. TRIBE BEING A LAWYER HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ISSUE.

Yes, scream as loud as you want, but we already get it. The issue is politically charged. And Tribe being a lawyer has everything to do with it. It is a legal issue that is justiciable in the Supreme Court, where he is licensed to practice.

We all understand it so you can turn the volume down, stop yelling, and try to reason the issue out.

There is enough around to demonstrate what the founding fathers intended and why they intended it. They wanted to insure that the president was absolutely free of foreign influence and that the choice of president would not be an issue where other countries could advance their favorite duke or prince, an issue over which too many European wars were fought.

And so each case you present, McCain, Trump, George Romney, and Cruz present different factual issues and so each is different. In the case of Obama, we don't actually know what the facts are.
