I really really despise getting stopped going across the border because of the fruit nazi’s. I go the store and much of it this time of year comes from CA. But no, go to the state then try and sneak back across with a bag of grapes... Dang blasted Agri-nazi’s.
I didn’t know this before but just found out a few months ato...
The agro-nazis at the border stop ask me about machinery I manufacture. They wanted lading documents, receipts, contact info, registration and serial numbers of the machine I built. I was delivering it to a company in Northern California and the machine had ZERO to do with agriculture.
If it wasn’t a customer’s product I would have told that a-hole to shove it and turned around.
They aren’t looking for fruit anymore.
Once I was stopped at the AZ border coming in from Cali and asked if I had any fruit. I told him the only fruits were the ones on the road coming out there. He was not amused.
