My preference is DA/SA, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say I hate DAO or striker fired designs.

I like striker-fired (as long as it is Glock—hate all the other striker-fired guns). I like an SA for the range. I’m one of those rare types who prefers a DAO over everything in a concealed carry gun.

The one type of semi-auto I really can’t stand is DA/SA. Just a personal preference.

I grew up with wheel guns and transitioned years ago to semi-autos with the venerable S&W model 59 so I`d say it`s more along the lines of that adage about old dogs and new tricks. So SAO? Nope! I don`t like`em, give me a hammer or I`d go back to the trusty .357 wheel guns.
