that little tab is not supposed to be a ‘safety”...its a drop safety. Glocks are designed to be pulled and fired quickly. no fiddling around with a lever or a button, wondering “is it on or off”..which is exactly why ill never own anything else. Keep your finger off the trigger, thats Glocks safety.
The first thing I do with any new Glock is install the light disconnect, firing pin spring and extended release lever.
Almost thirty years and never had a ND.
