Mississippi on a National Level would be suicide.

Sure would. However I think those in the GOPe would be very happy with Hillary as President. They just want business as usual. At least the TPP does not look like it will pass this year.

We hear this crap (brokered conventions) every four years.

The days of the smoke filled rooms were a select few horse traded delegates ended about 100 years ago.

Could they be so stupid as to actually consider to undo Trump who has energized voters and brought a new interest in politics? Trump’s coattails would be a great plus.

They don’t care. Their mission is to prevent us from stopping The Cheap Labor Express.
That is who owns and operates the RNC/GOP.

If the GOP does this, it’s like a
suicide belt without the virgins.

Carson is talking about leaving too. He says, “I’m willing to lose honestly” (and will support the nominee) but that he’s not going to stand for “theft”.

I am glad the establishment vichy repubs are sh1tting bricks.

Only way to fix the party is to jettison the rino/goper leadership once and for all, over to the rest of the unitard party.

Absolutely true. Even talking about, the GOP is treading on very thin ice.

Yep, it would be suicide.

The RINOs only alternative is to jump on the Trump Bandwagon and beg forgiveness.

BTW--note tagline.

No one is going to have a majority so there is no alternative to a brokered convention.

Remember, it was “Republicans” who put Obama in the White House - Noonan, Brooks, Parker, Powell, Weld, Adelman, McClellan (Bush press secretary, Susan Eisenhower, etc. etc.

These and the current GOPe would have no problem with Hillary in the White House, as long as they are getting their cut of the action.

They don’t give a damn for America.
For all his faults, Trump does.

If no candidate has a majority of delegates going into the convention, you will have a brokered convention. In that case, I don’t see any way Trump wins the nomination. After the first ballot, the wheeling and dealing will begin, and the delegates for the other candidates will probably begin to coalesce around an alternative.

I think the only way Trump wins the nomination is if he can get an absolute majority of the delegates going in. But that will be true of any candidate this year. I don’t see any candidate going into the convention with a majority.

This is bold talk from a one eyed fat man (OK I reckon Rove has good vision). They know Trump can go 3rd Party just as easily as stay with the GOP, and they’re scared shiteless he’ll do it an leave the R party in shambles with a fraction of the vote and either Trump or Hillary as president. So they won’t do it. Not because they are smart but because the senators and congressmen who depend on the GOP money-raising machine won’t let them.

Ted Cruz and Donald Trump will be the "smartest guys" in the room at the 2016 GOP Convention ...

Their delegate counts for the 2016 GOP Convention will be as follows:

Ted Cruz @ 37.80 percent
Donald Trump @ 27.3 percent

for a total of 65.1 percent ... enough for a "first ballot" nomination.

Ted Cruz will ask Donald Trump to be his Vice President, and Trump will accept.

Trump will pledge his GOP Delegates to Ted Cruz, and the rest will be history.

This pattern of spiteful sabotage and misguided aggression may be just the way the Whig Party met it’s demise back in the days of Lincoln.
How ironic that would be, considering that the term “Whig” was derived from ‘those who oppose tyranny’.
The Whigs, were only a force for about twenty years; 1833 to 1855.

The US is an oligarchy and Trump doesn’t play by their rules. That’s why they go with family names that are part of Them (Bush, Kerry - 3 Skull and Bones btw) or just power hungry and will do their bidding (Clinton, Obama).
