Who is enabling the movement of ISISâ€™s oil?

In June of 2014, friendly forces captured documents from an ISIS courier after the fall of Mosul. The information he was carrying revealed that the terrorist organization had assets estimated to be worth approximately $875 million. Much of this was involved in the capture of the central bank in Mosul. This raised the value of the Islamic State to over two billion dollars. The majority of the group's wealth today includes proceeds from the capture and continuing operations of oil fields taken in Syria and Iraq.

The Caliphate makes an estimated $50 million a month selling crude oil on the black market. The 11 oil fields ISIS controls produce between 25,000 and 40,000 barrels per day. The oil is being smuggled through Iran, Kurdistan, Turkey and Syria. Oil smuggling is not new in Iraq and Syria. In fact, ISIS is using the same routes and networks first created by the regime of Saddam Hussein to bypass US sanctions.

The Islamic States' biggest asset is also its Achilles heel. Attacking the oil fields, refineries and transportation routes would greatly impact the fuel that really drives the caliphate-money. Turkey's President Erdogan and Barack Obama have no interest in shutting down ISIS's cash cow

Exactly who is enabling the black market oil trade, where is that oil going and why are doing so are very good questions.

Transporting crude oil via 18 wheeler tanker trucks is one of the most inefficient methods of transport available a this type of transport requires a constant stream of fleets of trucks shuttling between the oil field loading docks and delivery destinations .

Thousands of trucks would have to be in constant motion running convoys of trucks in long columns on two and four lane highways cutting through barren and desolate deserts.

Moving the massive volumes of crude oil ISIS is shipping is such an enormous and complex logistical operation involving so many 18 wheeler tanker trucks in constant shuttle trips from oil Field to drop zone that there is no plausible way any one could claim ignorance, especially anyone with access to the American military’s sophisticated recon and spy satellite assets.

This oil is a critical life line that is funding the ISIS Jihad and the genocide and atrocities we are seeing ISIS commit in Syria and Northern Iraq.

Our military could have shut this oil traffic down using only attack jet aircraft in less than a week with little or no cost or risk to us and, contrary to the steady stream of excuses emanating from the White House, we could have done so without creating civilian casualties .

This is a hard fact proven by the Russian Air Force doing exactly that- shutting down the flow of oil and destroying close to 2000 trucks I less than a week. And the Russians did so with less than 20 obsolete, 40 year old SU - 24 attack planes just days after Putin dispatched them to Syria

in contrast, the United States military has hundreds of state of the art attack planes that have operating from well prepared and supplied bases and aircraft carriers for years

I was stunned at the size and complexity of the ISIS black market oil operation and how blatant and open they are about the operation of convoys of thousands of trucks in constant motion shuttling oil deliveries.

The only plausible explanation for why President Obama has allowed ISIS to keep this charade going is because Obama has the same foreign policy goals as ISIS and the President wants ISIS to succeed in those goals.

The billions of dollars per year in oil revenues ISIS receives is vital to fund the Jihad and keep the ISIS in operation so if ISIS is to succeed , the oil trade must not be disrupted.

Therefore, Obama does not allow our Military to attack and shut down the flow oil via trucks when he could easily do so. Its amazing to think that our fighters are flying around Syria and Northern Iraq loaded with bombs and are coming back to base with their full load of bombs still in their racks unused when there is such a target rich environment filled with high value targets right under their noses.

Obama is clearly willfully enabling ISIS, and a big part of what Omama is enabling is the commission of genocide and atrocities so heinous that they shock the conscience of the civilized world.

In fact, the only place where shocking of conscience or concern for the publicized world wide with slick , ISIS produced video tape documentary evidence of genocide and crimes against humanity is absent is it’ scnumber one enabler - the Obama Administration Whitehouse .

It's well past time for our Enabler in Chief to take action against ISIS, but everything he has done up to now is pretty much everything he can to protect and provide aid and comfort to ISIS, not to destroy it
