NORMANDY, Mo. (AP) â Michael Brown once told an uncle that the world would know his name one day, and he was right. Fifteen months after the black 18-year-old's killing by a white Ferguson police officer made him a key figure in the debate over the treatment of blacks by U.S. law enforcement, though, Brown lies buried in relative obscurity.
Brown is among the most notable residents of 160-year-old St. Peter's Cemetery, but there is no headstone marking his grave. Instead the burial plot â Section 10, Block F, Lot 12, Grave 4 â is visible only when gazing down at a concrete slab simply spray-painted in orange with "MB."(continued)

I wouldn’t call him one of the most notable, rather one of the most infamous.
I`d build him one, a few hours after a NICE bean burrito dinner. Complete with streaked, bunched up, tissue streamers.
On the other hand, his supporters lie with gusto.
Tats cost money. Family for to prioritize.

Already has a plaque to replace the pile of garbage left in the street where the 300 pound pile of garbage attacked a police officer
Black lives matter.
You think they would collect dollar bills all over the country.
Good Lord....where is his family?
The convenience store clerk battered by MB was the ‘Juanita Broaddrick’ of this entire affair.
The Media will NEVER let publicize his name, or his traumatic story.
As I recall, he was a person of color - Asian, Filipino, Indonesian, or something like that.......
I don't wish to be unduly disrespectful of the dead but this flourish could only be made complete by him being buried in a hoodie with his crackpipe.
The really bad thing is......markers are not even that expensive. I’ve purchased a few in the recent years from this company. Setting it is usually included in the plot price.

That’s hilariousâ¦.Syrian pilgrims will stop at his shrine and pray to Allah.
And you have to be able to spell.
'Here lie Michael Broun'
Yep, an ugly footnote to this sorry affair. I guess I missed the BLM apology to officer Wilson after he was cleared of wrong doing for the event. /s
Axe the fambly and they’ll tell you dey gots more impo’tant things to spend all dey Benjamins on.
“Tombstone would cut into profits”
Exactly!
It proves his family cares as much about him in death as they did in life, NONE, unless there is money involved for them!
Didn’t Brown grab him by the throat and shove him?
Micheal has not committed a crime in 15 months. He is to be congratulated.
Where’s the engraving of him shaking down the shopowner ?
