The photo is from 1983. Wallace and Clinton were both governors then.

Then, of course, you've go the most famous picture of historical consequences of Clinton meeting his idol JFK. Of course he was his idol because of all the chicks the CIC could have without hassle

Now, this shot has me seeing Clinton with his lip like that, probably reminiscing about JFK to his son and getting all maudlin, and teary-eyed probably saying, sh1t like I'm sorry your Dad was killed, he was a good man and other things like that. That's the sense I get.

Good observation on the cans. I used to collect soda cans (and bottles) back then, and those wide-open style pop-tops didn’t seem to appear until the very, very late-1970s. In a closet I still have a cardboard box full of cans which are all specifically from 1977, and every one of them still has the older teardrop-shaped style.
