I don’t see any outrage. But, what you will see is that Putin’s ground attack aircraft will have fighter escort in the future and the Turkish aircraft will be shot down.

I’m with you. The Russians will secure a base and deploy their S-400 Ground to Air missiles up there. They’re called GAME CHANGERS for a reason, and the Turkish (and US) Air Force will quickly realize who now controls the skies, either the easy way (without losing aircraft), or the hard way.
