Notice that this government does not see itself as answerable to you, is not interested in what you think about this or any other issue.
Immigration policy is not made with the interests of citizens. It never is. They do not ask your opinion about it, they don’t reveal their criteria, they don’t reveal statistics, they don’t reveal their aims, nothing.
They never do. You’ll notice that this is as much true of Repubs as Dems. Note which Dems are willing to come out against an open border. Any? None. Note which Republicans. Any? Almost none. Now notice which Dems are opposed to bringing a million arab men fresh from the war zone to colonize the US. Any? None. And Repubs? Almost none.
Immigration policy, like health care policy, like budget policy, is rule by decree. Commands are issued and thats the end of it. There will be some caterwauling in media cul de sacs, but most of it hypocritical and none of it effectual. They are going to replace us either with friendly tribes from the south or hostile tribes from the mideast and they are not going to ask your permission before they pull the trigger.
Each of you will receive 100 million dollars to take them.
That’s the most glaring thing about this. They choose to act, again and again, in contradiction to the people who elected them to represent their will.
