You do know that publishing a picture of your face is pretty much the same as posting your name, drivers license number, height, weight, home address etc. don't you? Are you aware that software readily available to government agencies (and others) can match your face against databases of facial images - like the one which has a copy of that photo on your drivers license?

I didn’t say I was afraid of anything. Just pointing out something many people don’t know. I’ve been on the internet since 1991 and have never felt the need to hide. But I am aware of the facts.

I said nobody has to. I do it because it sends a stronger message. I am not afraid of the government or anybody. If I have to die or go to jail for defending myself or my neighbor, I do not care. In comparing the brazenness of federal fascists and religious extremists to your reluctance to display any evidence of an ability to defend yourself is disappointing.

Cosmoline’s only virtue is that it stops time indefinitely.

I used a fridge condenser brush to scrub the ookum out of the stock slots. Soaked the metal parts in thinner. Ran the bore with a steel .30 cal rod.

Took a month for the turpentiny smell to go away but it’s a nice piece. Best quality of all SKS’s in my opinion.

That sounds like someone who is not thinking clearly. Wouldn't it be better, for instance, to continue as a living, free man after you defended yourself or your neighbor? Why would anyone who is thinking clearly say that they didn't care about living, or going to jail?

That's the kind of thinking that level headed patriots want nothing to do with. And its the kind of thinking and message that falls right into the playbook of the gun control crowd.

If you want the government to know everything you own and do, then please post it on public forums, not all of us are stupid enough to let the government know every thing we do.

I don’t have to organize with just FReepers...it’s helpful, but not mandatory.

You’re asking people, relatively anonymous people, to post information about themselves that they may or may not be comfortable posting.

As before, those who need to know, will know...if and when the time comes. I have many acquaintances and friends outside of FR who share many of the same concerns we here on FR do.

Just because I’m not sharing anything with you, doesn’t mean I’m not taking any precautions or making preparations.
