There are "branches" of SDA now? If they uphold their list of "Fundamentals," then they affirm Ellen White to be an authoritative prophet, and thus reject the Trinity through her. Read here for SDA theologians speaking about the subject of what SDA actually believe about the Trinity:

My DiL attends and has attended SDA for over 20 years. That's not something she's been taught. Have you been in one? Do you know what is actually taught? Nope. You're going by what a website tells you.

Not all churches of any denomination adhere to doctrine.
