Not all pyramids were built to store grain but there is archeological evidence to prove that some of the early ones were. There is also validity to the Joseph claim. But like all things archeological there are opposing views.

The pyramids were built 2,500 years before Joseph came around. It also contradicts the scripture which simply states that the grain was stored in each city. Where would you even put the grain in the pyramids?

OK.....I am really getting tired of this....It’s not my writing, I am not a archeologist but I can tell you that there is a valid argument that the timeline for Egypt is in error and that if corrected it all makes sense.

The grain thing has to do with a number of pyramids, at least one of which was later converted to a tomb, but the grain storage areas were still identifiable..

If you rationally look at what a pyramid is, you will see that it is but a large building constructed in a style that evolved over a period of time but can be seen in many parts of the world. A big building is what you might use to store a large amount of grain. The theory is that they were developed for both purposes...and maybe others as in multipurpose building..

Here is one such article among many if you do a search past the carson attack stories and back into the archeology discussions.

Might need to go back 10 pages or so...the attacks have been prolific.

There is a number of investigative pieces on Netflix that deal with the time lines..

While I don’t buy Carson’s idea at all, the pharaohs were buried with food and other items that they were to take to the next world. I imagine the tombs were found with grain stored in urns.
