You tell me, because there are folks out there now, including right here, calling for Trump to apologize. Why? because he repeated the story? As if it hasn't been repeated 10,000 times since this morning.
A proper conservative candidate should be (a) smart enough to detect media lies and (b) of sufficient character to call the lying 'Rats out, even if their target is his chief rival.
The whole thing is absurd. Carson agreed he should have chosen a different way to describe whatever it was that happened. If the pro Carson/anybody but Trump contingency are looking for someone to be angry at it should be Carson or those actually reporting the story.
