As will I. However, one of my favorite stories in American History is the Alamo. And like the brave souls there, I will fight to the end. However, more and more every day I get the sinking feeling that, like the brave souls there, we are doomed to lose. Having said that: “I shall never surrender or retreat.”
It's how you define the beginning that concerns me. What will turn the future tense into the present tense? What, that hasn't already happened.
