“I had the same thoughts as you did about Clinton and Obama. It was based on what they said and stood for, not their mannerisms and general demeanor.”

Which is why we end up with horrible leaders/politicians. Anyone can say anything or stand for anything to whatever level of sincerity needed; some do this better than others, or are more consistent. None of that indicates who they really are, or what direction they will go when they are given power.

When push comes to shove, will the individual be competent and do the right thing, or does the mask fall and the true agenda appear?

So many focus on one or more pet issues, believing that agreement indicates similarity of thought, but that is a false assumption. They fail to comprehend or only comprehend only in a vague and general way that their life and liberty depends on this individual, especially a President.

Personal behavior (mannerisms and general demeanor), not words or even deeds, indicates the true nature of an individual.

You must not have listened to what Clinton was saying. It was a hard left, liberal agenda he set out. That is why I did not vote for him.

Obama not only RAN on a hard left agenda, he ran on a hard ANTI-American agenda. I am amazed that people claim he ran in the center. The first time I saw him in debate against Biden and Hillary — I predicted he did not stand a chance because of his obvious anti-Americanism and his name. Was I wrong!!!

When all the Republican candidates except Trump run on a pro-amnesty platform, you can take it to the bank; they are for amnesty. Amnesty will end conservatism and the United States.

I do no pay attention to Trump’s money, his TV show fame (which I never watched), but only to what he “preaches”. And he has consistently preached the same message for 25 years.

George Washington could not give a stirring speech because of his dentures. Would you have voted him down because of that mannerism? Abraham Lincoln had a high voice. I find Trump’s mannerisms and demeanor entertaining, but I wouldn’t vote for him on based on that.
