It’s called nature. I wouldnt shoot the bear or interfere with what it’s doing.
The bear is going to eat his fill before the deer is dead.
That will be noisy and unpleasant. Deer do scream in pain while being eaten alive.
He will disembowel and pull lots of deer fur off trashing the yard. He might even try to bury it and guard the kill for several days while he attempts to consume the stinky fly drawing carcass.
The bear will also be unhappy that your family is so close to his food.
Can you please reconsider what you would really do?
