I just judge from my extended family. They aren’t very political, they certainly aren’t very ideologically pure. But they love Trump.
I tell them about Cruz and their eyes glaze over because they aren’t that interested in details when it comes to politics. They want someone who isn’t afraid to shake things up and they think he’ll do it. They don’t know what specifically he’ll do but backing down is one of the things they’re sure he won’t do.
Same here. Family members who hardly ever discuss politics, are so excited about Trump. Bumper stickers and everything...all in ;-)
