I don't think I'd be too surprised at how much water gets used.
I lived for over a year in a 12' x 8' shack with no running water. I carried water. I handled the other plumbing in other ways.
Been there, done that, not a keyboard warrior like you find around here.

Great fun! I spent a year in two rooms while I fixed this place up.
Had water but no electricity. Think I had it better than you. Water is heavy.
Couldn’t do it again though. Getting too old for that kind of fun.
