The latest round of attacks aimed toward Donald Trump can only reasonably be considered divinely inspired fails.
OMG Donald Trump Supports Eminent Domain!!
[ *NOTE* Watch closely who picks up on this attack approach and youll identify an even larger number of the GOPe deceivers than were visible before. ]
Brett Baier interviewed Donald Trump for his Fox News Special Report segment and carried with him a specifically pre-framed angle of attack, an agenda. Baier used the Club for Growth argument (see video: @3:34) for conversation about Eminent Domain.

Not for private use, genius.
Ow! Nice one!
The Founders would have shot British Noblemen stealing private property for tuppence under the guise of “the greater good”.
Try to figure out the difference between public use and private use. Some clown wants a golf course so my house gets bulldozed? Yeah, that’s America.
I have tried using that, and things like THE HIGHWAY we use, the RAILROAD LINES our goods are shipped on, and the FACT that the little old lady was not ‘kicked’ out of her house, all to no avail.
I guess Yuri Bezmenov was right.
” The result you can see — most of the people who graduated in the 60’s, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals, are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, and educational systems. You are stuck with them. You can’t get rid of to them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You can not change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and black is black, you still can not change the basic perception and the logic of behavior. In other words [for] these people the process of demoralization is complete and irreversible.”
So... you’re saying that all the highways we drive on, and all the railroad lines are on property that was not owned by ANYONE prior to their acquisition ?
First of all the property is NOT seized it is purchased for more than it’s value, now if you don’t pay your taxes on property that is SUPPOSED to be yours it is SIEZED!!!!!
There is a difference between the constitutional provision for eminent domain and the overreach of the Kelo mess. The answer is in the middle. This candidate indicated in this video that people should be compensated at fair or even multiple times overmarket rates for property. That’s hardly fascist.
It’s fun baiting the fanatic Trump supporters, because they have to pretend to agree with every stupid thing he says. “Take my house, Donald! I love you!” “If you don’t like eminent domain, you shouldn’t drive on a highway!” etc.
So just to be clear here, you support Kelo along with Trump, right?
No. That is not how it happens, and not anywhere near what DIDN'T happen in the case with Trump.
You do realize he lost the case, the lady kept her house, don't you ?
Trump made no such distinction, AFAIK. He also indicated that people who had their property confiscated “made out like bandits”. I don’t think this is true in most cases.
Did the lady lose her house ?
Dude, there is no middle ground between the public use clause and the benefit another private citizen clause because the second clause appears nowhere in the Constitution.
Did Trump support kelo or eminent domain? As you point out, there is a difference.
I wasn’t referring to any particular case, just the general evil of confiscating private property for someone else’s private use. I have no problem with the keystone pipeline, etc. It’s shopping malls and golf courses and housing developments that are fascistic.
Mrs. Kelo did. Nice lady. Talked to her at the rally against government theft. As you might expect she thinks the SCOTUS and supporters of Kelo vNew London are fascist pigs. Just the facts ma’am.
Also, if you want a wall you are going to love eminent domain.
What lady, what house. Try to see the big picture. What if somebody wants your house? (Assuming you own anything)
I hear you, I guess I just figured I’d try it one more time. You and Yuri remind of the futility of using logic to defeat emotion.
