The economics of restaurant/food workers getting paid more via government mandate equals fewer people eating out.
This will certainly mean that more restaurants and fast food places close, being run out of business because the profit margins for them are so narrow, and in the end, more food service people jobless, and more competition for the fewer food service jobs remaining.
