In 1975 I participated in a summer program for black kids in D.C. We went to a movie, in which some cops shot an upstanding black teenager. The movie was a “black” movie—but it made clear that the shooting was NOT intentional. Nevertheless, the 150 black kids we had brought to the theater started SCREAMING “Kill ‘em! Kill em’!” It was scary. Things are MUCH worse today.

You are correct but, unfortunately, there are some uneducated sheeple who believe that the only way that you can be “educated” is to spend your money at a movie theater, sitting with some of the dregs of society.

To these posters, playing musical instruments & reading books isn’t sufficient; You must give Hollywood your money or you’re ignorant.

If Hollywood wants my money, they need to start improving their product. Most of their films are mindless, inane “ special effects” with no plot. Foreign films & documentaries are superior.
