One thing to consider: These Trump ladies are not alone. There are many like them. Whether we are Trump voters or not, we had better treat his supporters with respect or we will lose them for a lifetime.

Agreed. Our Republican women's group had a booth at local annual fall festival this weekend with literature and voter registration forms. A couple of people who stopped by to chat said they'd voted demoncrat for years but that Trump had opened their eyes, and their demoncrat days were over. Very enthusiastic about it. Trump's not my choice but I said nothing about it. Just let them rave and woohooed with them. The important thing is they realize the direction the dems are taking the country and they don't like it. Both even said that if Trump doesn't win the nomination, they'll still vote for the Republican nominee. And that is the bottom line.

Trump seems to have a good rapport w/BOTH Cruz and Carson. His body language & his expressions/demeanor when either of them spoke at debates told me a lot. We know Cruz has met w/Trump, and Carson has met w/Trump prior to the campaign (John’s Hopkins events).

I think Trump is a very smart man, putting his OWN money in the game and already making his OWN rope a dope on the GOPe w/Cruz& Carson.

Your analogy doesn’t quite apply, since the Gipper was from the greatest generation, made of more dignified stuff, and the Democrat party and he had long parted ideologic ways.
