If the guy was a plant, I'd bet he was a Trump plant. This plays very much into Trump's campaign and all to Trump's benefit. Carson obviously picked up on it. No candidate will be hurt for running against Islam which is all any LIV will take away from the whole brouhaha - Trump vs. Islam. At the same time it paints the left with the "pro-terrorist" brush. If Trump did plant the guy it was a pretty brilliant move.
