I don’t know why they are so defensive of him over this. It isn’t like we are going to remove him. Mitch - his bit.. - still won’t send him bills he has to break a sweat and have to veto.
It will be business as usual. Plus, the press will probably fawn all over him for being brave and coming out with it.
