He is worth much more dead than alive. FYI, it would have been cheaper to have kept him in prison for 60 years in Maryland where the cost per prisoner is $38,383. That would have cost $2.3 million in today’s dollars.

Considering that this thug would have got dead at some point his odds of living until the age of 85 were slim to none as proven by the fact he did get dead at age 25.

From a purely economic standpoint this settlement is asinine.

Just like the starving artist whose value is not recognized until he is dead.

At least we have set the floor at 6.4 million per payout.
The next case will be like those baseball players who are “insulted” by a $6.4 million offer.
