I'm understanding and sympathetic to how the Senate and House work-

You seem to be saying that Cruz is out because he is working in the senate, the only viable candidate has no experience with the Federal government?

In a way, yes. It's not just experience. Anyone can have experience. It's experience at winning, at forging victories. He did well as Texas AG, but this is a totally different challenge. And making a solo stand that, in the end, failed isn't the best job recommendation. And voting for the Corker Bill--rather than finding a way to get a coalition to beat the Iran deal IN THE SENATE is not the best recommendation either.

Unless you WIN, the "experience" doesn't help, and in Walker's case, even when you win, you need to show that you can ratchet up that state-level victory to national concerns (which he certainly has not done).

But I'm just suggesting what I've heard some here in middle America tell me. Who knows? Something explains his 4-8% ditch, which he can't seem to get out of.
