National Review had its “Civil Discussion on Abortion” front pager 25 years ago, with pro-aborts treated as if they had more moral legitimacy, than say, a Bircher.
More recently, the front page featured “The Conservative Case for ‘Gay Marriage’” [sic, and sick].
NR forfeited its position as gatekeeper of the conservative movement a LONG time ago. Its the Byte magazine of conservatism. Byte, at least, new when to close shop.
I loved Byte. Even as magazines began to byte the dust, Big Time.
For the time being i am enjoying the Trump bull in the GOPe china shop.
I am rooting for the bull as it is smashing my enemies that have been screwing over the country since at least 1998.
