With a Trump/Carson landslide and a REALLY conservative House and Senate, Cruz could get the Senate in line, or he could be Attorney General for the prosecutions that will be necessary. Then when the first SCOTUS opening occurs, appoint Cruz. And when Roberts sees fit to throw in the towel, elevate Cruz to Chief Justice. Cruz in young. Long live Cruz and a conservative Supreme Court! Trump, Trump, Carson, Carson would have opportunity to assure a conservative SCOTUS for the next twenty years. And Cruz could preside over that conservative SCOTUS for the duration.
I like Trump. I like Carson. I love Cruz...
Cruz HAS a track record of apposing the progressives in both (the uni-party) parties, but neither Trump or Carson have such a record, thru no fault of their own, sure, but the Republic is hanging by a thread,(dare I say, a second amendment thread), and we can`t afford another republiCrat traitor.
Oh sure, they SAY the right things, NOW, but will they BOTH walk that talk? I would prefer Cruz in that POTUS mix as a hedge against a sell-out, 'Trust but verify.', wise words to live by in these dangerous times.
