The car goes 250 miles under optimum conditions, you can’t drive it anywhere there is not a charging station, to replace battery is about $12,000 which will HUGELY lower resale value and the fit, finish and opulence factor leave much to be desired in an $85,000 car.

Strong bias towards this car has been evident since it came out. For this kind of money I can buy a maxed out benz e550 4matic. It will get close to 30mpg hiway with v8 power and much, much more luxury than the Muskmobile.

Yeah but they guarantee battery performance for 3000 charges.

That at 200 miles per charge is 600,000 miles. How many engines are guaranteed to go that long? I don’t think the cost of battery replacement is a huge deal.
