There'a an appendix at the back of the books..lists every man and officer who served with Easy company...from the original cadre at Tocoa, to the replacements later on...tells exactly where and when the served, what battles they saw. You dad's friend should be on the list.

I’d imagine that this gentleman would have been one of the original Toccoa men, since he jumped on DDay. But I don’t know that. Will do some reading!
