Apples and oranges. FreeRepublic is constitutionally protected political free speech while this business was at best a conspiracy to commit family destroying betrayal or at worst serious criminal activity. The users of this business got exactly what they deserved and their loss will stand as a warning to others. This was a righteous hack.

I couldn’t agree more. No sympathy for any of them. When you purposely go out to cheat on your spouse and your family, you deserve no sympathy.
Free Speech didn’t stop the Gaystapo and the courts from financially ruining that cake shop. To the Left, FR and sites like it are just as bad as AM, if not worse: to them we spew “hate speech”, espouse extremist ideologies, and want to overthrow their nearly-socialist government and their Dear Leader and turn the US into a Theocracy.
