I realize I am wearing out this point; but, if that is indeed the case, then why were they sitting in their vehicles when the first shots were fired?
Affidavits have been submitted that before any shots were fired that Cossacks were seen on the patio moving about and checking their weapons and that before any shots were fired that a large cohort of Bandidos arrived.
What is proactive about sitting in a car as matters begin to escalate?
Compared with sitting in the cop-shop, or donut shop, or being on routine patrol, having a heavy presence on the scene is proactive.
I think the cops are lying that Twin Peaks told them they could not be on the premises, and an out-of-the-car presence would have had a deterrent effect. I believe the cops did NOT want to produce a deterrent effect. I believe the cops wanted a fight to break out. The fight justified their presence.
I disagree that you are "wearing out this point" -- it is an important, glaring, and valid point, and I for one am GLAD that you continue to bring it up. They at least claim that they were sitting in their vehicles. If they weren't, they're lying, which is bad, and if they WERE sitting in their vehicles, that also implies some other kind of lie at work because it makes zero sense.
What I still cannot believe is how many naïve gullible people actually believe Sons of Anarchy templates. I can only surmise that they live in an extreme bubble and have very, very limited experiences of American life, getting most of it from "reality" TV shows.
X-spurt, 150 years ago, you would have been killed in a duel for insulting the honor of so many good people so cavalierly and wrongly. You have as much as called MANY of my relatives, friends, and siblings "criminal gang members" and have done the same to many others. Your ass has a large and well-deserved target on it and it will no doubt be kicked soundly and squarely. The sad part is that you won't understand why -- but others will.
