Screw that noise.
I’m frying gizzards and taters tonight.

Well, the facts that I gave (supported by God’s word), and my 7 decades of open-eyed reality refute that hippie health news.
I’m 65, I’m 6’2”, weigh 185 lbs, have a 34” waist, no signs of diabetes and low resting blood pressure and pulse. I am in excellent health, in part because I don’t rely on 6000 year old medical texts for guidance.
Chicken fried steak.
Fried catfish.
Fried chicken.
Bacon.

Yum! Had some delicious chicken fried steak yesterday and some fried chicken on Friday. Have some bacon ready to cook tomorrow. Catfish not as common in the Northwest as some other fish but I fry various ones.
My tomatos are ripe now and eating a lot of caprese salads without the bread.
Don’t eat much grains but lots of fried. Have excellent blood pressure and blood sugar. My parents ate leaner meats, no fried, used margarine instead of butter and died younger than I am now.
Do some walking, hiking swimming, no gyms, feel great.
Butter, coconut oil, or lard are safe to use, but not much else.”
I like to used peanut oil to fry chicken. It will heat up really hot like butter and lard.
