I would believe he does. Look, I am a SOLID Cruz supporter but, Trump seems like the only other guy who WILL NOT back down to the standard progressive play book of lap dog adhominem attacks till a candidate emasculates himself, and as I believe it was poster #2 said, (paraphrase) if he helps to break that play book then I (too) will be eternally grateful.
