The point of posting that photo is to demonstrate that it means nothing and that this exercise is all a bunch of silliness. You can dig up pictures of any politician shaking hands or otherwise yukking it up with their political opponents. If I found a picture of Ted Cruz standing next to Nancy Pelosi, which I’m sure exists out there somewhere, does that mean we can no longer trust Ted Cruz? Of course not.

Except we have context for the photo of Trump and the Clintons. The Clintons were invited guests to his wedding. Now I don't know about you, but I didn't invite people to my wedding that were not close friends or family. I know Donald gets married a lot, so maybe he just needed to mix up the guest list to keep it interesting. But combine that with Donald's previous glowing comments about Hillary, Bill calling Donald prior to Donald entering the race, his contributions to the Clinton Foundation, his contributions to Hillary's senatorial campaign, his earlier positions on things like abortion, single-payer health care, etc... It provides a context that raises questions that should be asked. And for Donald and/or his supporters to suggest that it is wrong to even ask the question raises even more concern for me.

If you really want to put things in context and be intellectually honest about it, then you need to consider that at the time, Donald Trump was a private citizen and does not owe you or I an explanation for who was or wasn't invited to his wedding. I think back to my wedding and there were guests there I did not particular like or care for. In fact, one of them is in prison for child molestation. If I ever ran for public office, how could I ever satisfactorily explain that one away to my critics other than to say I could not foresee future events?

I'm sure during the course of the campaign, Trump will be pressed on the question of why he had Shrillary at his wedding and we can choose to accept or not accept any reason he gives us. In the meantime, we are only speculating and jumping to conclusions.
