I am withholding judgment on this one. First, because Waco “law” are known outlaws themselves. Second, anyone can have child porn on their computer. Anyone. How? Easy. Anyone could post a single child porn image on an FR thread and anyone clicking to read that thread now has that image on their computer.

In case people don’t know, everything you see on a web page must first be loaded onto your computer to be displayed; every piece of text, all images, all videos, etc. Those ‘Temporary Internet Files’ stay on your computer usually for a long time, unless you change the settings for them.

I’ve googled for benign images like ‘Christmas present for wife” and gotten some pretty risky results. You can’t hardly search for anything without some risky image coming through. You can set your google results not to but even then some images sneak through. Those images are on your computer. Again, everything you see in a web page is first downloaded to your computer to be displayed.

I had a rather famous neighbor recently go through this issue with a local DA trying to nail him for child pornography simply because he and the DA had a tiff. If you have ever googled and gotten a risky image it is on your computer, too.

All text, all images, all videos, are NOT kept on your computer.

Only if you downloaded it.

I may be mistaken but none are stored on my computer.
