People that actually vote for this liberal loser when there are clearly viable conservative alternatives (i.e. CRUZ) on the ballot are no better than the GOPe trying to pass some RINO loser off as a conservative.

Stand in the mirror and repeat this over and over again until it makes sense:

DONALD TRUMP IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE!

I'm done voting for RINOs and fake conservatives.

The left had finally found a way to trick conservatives. Trump does not have any good intentions for conservatives.

The nomination is a year away; the election 15 months.

To write off a candidate who has made a phenomenal first impression, when the campaign is just getting started, is folly incarnate.

Let's give Donald a fair opportunity to define his campaign. His first efforts have certainly been encouraging. So too has been his friendly relationship with the obvious Conservative Ted Cruz. As long as that relationship stays friendly, the doubts as to Trump's Conservatism seem baseless. He is a proud man, he is not making statements, forming alliances, etc., that he intends to later repudiate.

On the other hand, those who choose to deliberately misconstrue the reasons for Trump's past actions, seem to be looking for a reason to reject what to most of us, seems like a great opportunity to reverse the tide of what Faux Conservatives & Faux Liberals have done to our heritage.

God Bless Trump & Cruz! Let's see how the campaigns unfold, before making a commitment we may have to regret later.

Put another way, Trump is the answer to those fake Conservatives, who would like to impose Jeb Bush as the Republican candidate. Trump has rendered Jeb irrelevant. Shoot Trump down--if you can--and the big government Republicans will be able to resurrect Jeb. That is not something in our interest.

Cruz is my #2 at this point.

#1 is always “the most conservative candidate who can win”—and at this point that looks like Trump.

And here’s yet another article misrepresenting Trump’s position. He’s for an interstate, market-based solution to healthcare—but a safety net of care provided for the poor.

Sure, 15 years ago he flirted with more of a centralized governmental approach—but so did the Heritage Foundation.

Again, yawn, this article misleadingly presents a position from 16 years ago re: raising money for that healthcare solution.

More hack attack articles than the world needs here.

We haven't even gotten past the first Republican Debate.

I have no memory of all this caterwauling going on this early in a Presidential Campaign Season.

What changed besides the obvious betrayal of their Base by the Establishment Republicans in Congress?

Trumps rise is no surprise. What is a surprise is the number of Apolitical, Conservative and Independent Voters who seem to be coalescing behind Trump. Something is going on, but time will tell the tale.
