I started WINDOWS in during windows 3.1 in about 1981-82.That's a nice trick. The first IBM PC came out in 1981, running DOS. Windows 3.1 didn't show up until 1992.

Atari 800, then Atari1600, then ATI 33 DX, then another P.C. ( I forget the name), then Toshiba Satellite A75, then I-MAC.
Now you tell me what operating systems came with those,

One other thing; the Atari 600: if you typed in over 20 pages of double spaced text of a "Term-Paper", it "LOCKED UP" (Memory FULL).
It was a real pain in the butt, backing out of that "LOCK-UP" .

He could have started with Dos 1.2 in 1984 or so. I did. Of course Windows did not come out until later, but it’s easy at this point to make the term generic. Maybe.
