Thank you, dearest Jim!
MSM in its vicious dishonesty almost always omits the word “ILLEGAL”!

Today is Sunday, July 12th. How will Monday be July 14th?
Someone must have severe triskaidekaphobia.

should have invaded Mexico?been there, done that, Mr. Trump
We got 6 states out of the land ceded by Mexico in 1848. Obama took 4 of them both times, for a net gain of about 60 electoral votes each time for the 'Rats.
Better not annex any more territory.
To: Jim Robinson
Amen...the MSM leaves out that BIG fact. Big difference between LEGAL and
ILLEGAL immigrants. I've yet to hear Trump say we have too many LEGAL immigrants, in this country.
There's a difference between those who've come here legally, to improve themselves AND this country...and those who come here ILLEGALLY, to commit crimes and sponge off entitlements.

LOL, just thinking, we should offer Mexico Statehood if they keep coming in at the rate they are.

Hard to tell when Trump is talking real objectives or is just going for the shock factor, but either way, hes not far off the mark. If the U.S. does not wake the hell up and start fighting back, were going to lose our country.

I need a mouse! I'm not certain about Trump either, but he's putting his own money where his mouth is!! And he's stating facts! No notes, he knows the issues and he speaks smash-mouth bold in plain English.
Right now, I'm very much open to Trump's candidacy, because like you said, unless this illegal invasion is stopped and corrected, we *are* going to lose our country.

I know that, and you know that, but there are a few people who
seem to think none of that is happening and will argue vehemently with those who dislike illegal order jumpers.
Ping to bkepley so he can read your post.

Had Mexico become part of the USA it would have had a lot of wide ranging effects for the world later on.
Cuba may not have gone communist simply because it would have been harder for Castro and his boy Che to reach. The Panama canal would have likely been built sooner and central America would be in much better shape with a massive trucking industry to and from the canal. Space launches would probably be from the Yucatan.
Probably all kinds of things I’m not considering.

Mexico might very possibly have been a bite the US couldn’t handle.
In fact, when the war started most military observers thought the Mexican Army considerably outclassed the US Army, which had in general not covered itself with glory in the War of 1812, its last conventional operations.

Right on Jim. We left California 18 years ago and it’s hard to imagine how quickly this has happened. I was scheduled to go to the bay area this coming week but lucky for me a fellow FReeper bailed me out.

Fine but 1) Did he say the US should invade Mexico and 2) If so was he serious? Try looking back at the topic once in a while.

They are invading us.
Turnabout is fair play.
Don’t like it, then don’t invite it.

So you think we should invade Mexico? That’s a plausible solution?
