Really? By whom? Until just now, I had never heard of this notion. It sounds like it was made up by a social studies major, and has little resemblance to anything that actually exists.

This article reads like a typical nonsensical socialist screed. It is meant to frighten those who feel their way to every decision (i.e. typical leftists). The way it is written almost sounds like it was based on some scientific principle--that is, until you examine it critically and realize that it is making claims for which there is no concrete evidence. To those who are incapable of rational thought, it probably sounds all sciency. But it isn't.
