I once socialized with Trotskyites (I was in college, I was stupid). The Trotskyite strategy was to continue to make demands on the system. When one was met, another was made, until the system broke from meeting the demands.
The Trots were not very influential in the American left in the 1960’s, but that strategy is being employed by the left now. They will not stop until they have undermined all the traditions underpinning our society, collapsing social order and taking over themselves.
The Clinton Crime Machine are exemplars. They work at destroying the system all their lives, becoming obscenely wealthy in the process of wailing about income inequality, so that if the system inevitably collapses when they are old, they have offshored money and connections to flee elsewhere to a banana republic and hire armed guards and servants.
