"Scott Walker just dropped off my list of acceptable candidates. I like a lot about Governor Walker but people are policy. And his decision to hire Brad Dayspring, an unprincipled political operative who combines viciousness and incompetence in equal measures tells us a lot."

I am a Ted Cruz guy despite my not agreeing with him on TPA.

I don’t even know what “#WIUNION” is. I’m just looking at economic and jobs stats.

Most recently, Wisconsin lost more jobs in May than any other state. I don’t think the state of Wisconsin’s economy is a good recommendation for what we want to see nationally.

People make a big deal here out of Cruz and TPA (a vote he eventually got right), but Walker's campaign hiring practices deserve some scrutiny.

First amnesty pal Liz Mair and now a guy who likes to try to treat conservatives as chew toys. Not good.

Walkerites: if your guy can change his mind on immigration, Cruz can change his mind on TPA.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/04/23/exclusive-reagan-biographer-firm-signs-on-for-communications-strategy-for-scott-walker-super-pac/

Shirley & Banister Public Affairs will be handling strategic communications for Walker’s Super PAC, the Unintimidated PAC, and providing historical context that will prove crucial for the campaign. Since the firm’s two partners—Craig Shirley and Diana Banister—are extraordinarily connected among major players in the conservative movement, they’ll be filling a key gap in Walker’s growing team of influential staffers.

“We’re delighted to join this fantastic team working on behalf of Governor Walker,” said Banister, President of SBPA. “His refreshing approach to important national issues, shows Governor Walker is a strong leader who is truly unintimidated by powerful political forces and the Washington-knows-best-mentality that often leaves behind the best interests of the American people. We gladly join him in this fight.”

“One of the hallmarks of SBPA is we only work with people with whom we agree and we not only agree with Governor Walker, we admire him,” Shirley said in an emailed statement to Breitbart News. “He is a conservative, he is honest, ethical, tough and principled. We are proud of our new association with Governor Walker.”

The firm has been active in the conservative movement since 1984, helped Reagan’s re-election, has represented groups like the National Rifle Association, Tea Party Patriots, the Club For Growth, and more. Instead of focusing on mainstream media efforts, Shirley & Banister focuses much of its resources on new media like conservative online media, talk radio and other grassroots-centered materials–yet another sign that Walker doesn’t care about the Washington establishment way of doing things.

It’s worth noting that communicating in the new media world is much different than working with dinosaur-era old media, and it takes a certain kind of savvy to do it. Many other campaigns are working on doing the same thing, trying to bridge gaps into the conservative movement and media.”....

He helped the schools out immeasurably, an act that will benefit the state for years to come. I blame the national scene for the economic slowdown that we are all experiencing. Remember, Wisconsin has been controlled by democrats for years, he had a huge whole to dig out of. Maybe I am sugar-coating his term but at least I can legally protect myself now.

Since 2011, Wisconsin job growth has been about half the national average. Last month (May) Wisconsin lost more jobs than any other state, over 8,000,

A lot of the current hold up on the budget is disagreement on the huge cuts that Walker wants to education. The legislature is not happy about those cuts nor Walker’s proposal to borrow large amounts of money to fund roads and bridges.

I am trying to look at what is going on there and whether those policies are going to be good for the country. Walker talks about his record for getting things done. I’m just looking at the results.

are you saying scott walker is a liberal????

he is an outsider, despised by his own party (kinda like Reagan)...

he has proven he will do what needs to be done regardless of the cost..

cruz cannot even be bothered to vote on his own bill...

All well and good. But what do you say to the point of the OP?

I’ve never disputed that there are admirable traits Walker possesses. But frankly, Dayspring is alarming because of how he treats conservatives, and I don’t suppose he’s joining Walker’s Super PAC to play second fiddle.

The USCOC funding and Romney staffers pretty well prove it.

“Actually, If one has a brain, you could stop with number one.”

Whhat in the name of God makes you suspect that most of the Romneybots now pulling for anyone -—but-— Cruz has a brain to begin with. I’ll give some credit for just being uninformed or fearstruck. Again. But check my post history for the last week and see if you notice any sign of brain activity from some of the lobotomites I have crossed swords with.

They are reading from the exact same script of the 12 election and are completely clueless that every position and argument has been hashed, rehashed and proven to be pure bullshit 1000 times over by any number of FR actual conservatives.

And they drool it out anyway. They just changed the names.

Well as much as it gives me a brain bleed to agree with you I am compelled to point out that Mitt Walker is a nothing burger and has zero chance to win a general election agains’t Shrillary or probably any other Dem.

IMO the only two people with the force of personality to win a general election are Cruz and Trump. Any of the others just start practicing saying President Clinton.

I don’t schedule vacations to watch sausage being made but here is a synopsis from a very liberal source about the new budget:

Norman, that’s all you do is cross swords on this site with fellow conservatives of differing opinion. In regards to brain activity and a battle of wits, you should not engage in such a hostile way when you are only half prepared!

Agreeing with me might give you a brain bleed but considering how often us evil purists have been proven correct over the years, a staggeringly high percentage, you might want to move past the personality conflict and just accept that right is right no matter who says it.

No actually we have been correct more than that. Anyone could be if they simply put down the rose colored glasses.

Nor are we embarrassed or egotistical about it. Ask yourself what we saw that you refused to. Because it was there for anyone to see.

Now if your reason for stomping your feet and sticking your fingers in your ears is a personality conflict with some name on an internet post, it really doesn’t matter. Reality does not change because your eyes are closed or your ears blocked. Things did happen and some of us were frighteningly accurate in ‘predicting’ it. We donned out superhero suits and became Capetian Obvious. We used our superpowers to see what others WOULDN’T.
