Will that 4% be sufficient to keep Penzey’s (the spice retailer) in business??? “Bill” of Penzeys writes ecstatically: “Sorry about so many emails in so few days - this is not normally our style but what a few days they have been. Great times. And a couple of Great Gift Boxes. Our 15 jar Love Box for $39.95 (regularly $69.95) and our 9 jar Love Box for $24.95 (regularly $39.95) are an incredible way to celebrate marriage equality for all.
And whether you are buying this box as a gift for yourself or for someone close know that this box was created for this moment. We could all use a little more love in our lives. And here’s to hoping that one day we can all embrace what has happened here. That one day, we can all celebrate the victory that has been put in motion.Bill,

My wife had Penzey’s pegged for fags just from the flowery description of their products in their print catalog...I think it wound up in a cat box some years ago.
Wouldn't count on it. That 4% is actually on the high side. Obviously what my wife and I did is unscientific and could be distorted in many ways. We tended to avoid counting friends with small numbers of friends. The percentages of such friends having friends with rainbow avatars was sub 1 percent.
We tended to focus on friends with friend counts over 200 as presumably they would more likely represent a broader swath of society. In that case, the highest percentage was 7% but the average was right around 4%.
What really surprised us was that our black and hispanic friends have sub-one percent counts of friends with rainbow avatars
Penzey’s - bizarrely overpriced spices from me, the Queen of Spice. Didn’t know they were a gay outfit. Luckily, I buy from Indian grocery stores where spices are dead cheap, fresh, and all the help and customers are family oriented. Are Hindus not into the gay rights movement?
