I have an exceptional resume and speak well in front of any size group, having been a featured speaker more times than I can count. I have no doubt that I could get a job easily in the media, in a university, or in a public school.

If you were asking more generally, for most college graduates who have math or science credentials, I would assume that at least a public school job is an option (far less so for liberal arts credentials, but even there professional experience may be a strong positive). The only issue for public schools is classroom management, and I don't believe that would be a challenge for me. For others, a year leading the appropriate age in Sunday School, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or some other appropriate group while preparing for the transition would provide some practice on which to base a believable claim to classroom management experience.
