I am not a big fan of the battle flag. In fact, I have lobbied JimRob to use the correct Georgia flag on this site. The flag he uses, which has the battle flag as an element, has not been been the official state flag since 2003, a dozen years ago.

That said, the SPLC is a hate group with questionable methodologies that hugely inflate the number of “hate groups” they associate with the Right (unjustifiably so), while ignoring many Leftist groups that should rightly be in a list such as the one they present. There is no way I would use anything the SPLC recommends as a basis for policy. I might come to similar conclusion as they do on my own, based on other sources (likely extremely rarely), but I wouldn’t take their word that the sky is blue.

Since Roy Barnes the POS Democrat Gov got some BS flag approved in a midnight legislative session. We got rid of Roy right after that. He went down hard. Harry Reid could have gotten elected GA gov that year. The yard signs just said anybody but Barnes.
