None of the Republican presidential hopefuls have made any comments on the Charleston Shooting regarding race or gun control.
The Democrats candidates on the other hand call for more gun control and criticize police brutality in black communities, appealing to both black and white voters.
On the other hand, Republicans try to target the white community, especially from the Southern states who do not want enforced gun control laws. In fact Republicans have push a liberal agenda when it comes to gun control.
The fact that none of the Republican candidates discussed race and gun control issues after the Charleston shooting shows the building pressure they face. On the one hand, claiming that the right to bear arms should remain free of government intervention is very unpopular now, on the other hand, the Republican voting base may abandon a candidate who upholds government gun regulations.
Rand Paul said that “There’s a sickness in our country, there’s something terribly wrong, but it isn’t going to be fixed by your government.”. As it is clear, the libertarian leaning candidate does not advocate gun laws regulations.
Ted Cruz did not mention race as a possible motivation for the Charleston shooting.
“A sick and deranged person came and prayed with an historically black congregation for an hour and then murdered nine innocent souls,” he said.
Marco Rubio did not mention the attack at all in his speech.
Quite indeed. So many following lines, so little time.
At 21 he couldn’t have gone out and bought his own?
I hope not. F an apology. These liberal turds should apologize for embarrassing my race. Besides, the libtards don’t have the balls to live in black hoods’ so who are they to give me a sermon?

You wait the Republicans are going to betray us on the gun issue they will come around to the Democrats and will support gun registration for gun sales at gun shows disguised as “background checks”. You watch.
The Democrats must be very upset there are no riots.
Which Republicans? There’s about 4 or 5 parties within the overall party.
The ones who control the party.
Give ‘em time. Mr. Soros was caught flat-footed on holiday in the Greek Islands.
Where would the votes come from? Almost every Republican and many Democrats know that gun control is the new third rail in politics. They’ve seen how many of the colleagues have been defeated on the issue.
That is probably an accurate analysis.

Examples...(1)I’m horrified that the democrat (president, candidate) would try to score political points off of people who arent even buried yet. Do these people have no shame?
(2) this tragedy may have been avoided if only someone had been able to use a firearm to defend themselves. It’s outrageous that we have a democrat (president, candidate) who stands foresquare against the human right of self defense.
(3) this unspeakable strategy speaks to how race relations have take a downturn in the 6 years of Barack Obama’s presidency. Can’t we do better?
Unortunately no candidate with the possible exception of The Donald would go there. And maaaaybe Fiorina. The rest will sit there and act like the gelded government bureaucrats they are.
Go ahead and gut the Constitution, lefties, including the parts in which your side gets elected to Congress, and the Presidency. Let’s just go for total chaos and see how you’d like it.
I think, unlike Democrats, most Republicans are smart enough to wait until all the facts are in before jumping into an argument.

There are conflicting reports about whether it was a purchase by the shooter, gift from the father, or stolen from the mother. In any case, he had a record which would have prevented lawful purchase/ownership.
